de Grisogono

De Grisogono is a Swiss luxury jeweller that was founded in Geneva by Fawaz Gruosi in 1993. The name Grisogono stems from the Greek word meaning “begotten of gold”. De Grisogono is known for its use of black diamonds, and has also transitioned to watchmaking in 2000. Today, the company is owned by the Damac Group of Dubai.

Flavio Briatore

Gruosi collaborated with Italian businessman and former Formula One team principal and manager Flavio Briatore to develop the de Grisogono Power Breaker. Unveiled at the 2005 Cannes Film Festival, the F1-inspired chronograph has a steering wheel silhouette on the dial, numbers mimicking a gearbox, Flavio Briatore’s signature on the case back, a variety of case materials with factory diamond/precious stone options, and on a strap bearing the official F1 logo.
