Grand Prix Watches was launched to make information on motorsport watches easier to find. As a Formula One fan, former part-time MotoGP photographer, and lifelong watch enthusiast, I was surprised to discover in early 2024 that a consolidated resource didn’t already exist. Researching different racing timepieces always felt like a wild goose chase so I began building this resource to streamline the process for the next person, and hopefully create some new crossover fans along the way.
This website currently offers a big picture view of a brand or racer’s history through the lens of licensed watches. Information on individual timepieces is currently being compiled, and will be gradually added to the site.
