Sébastien Buemi

Sébastien Olivier Humbert Buemi (born October 31, 1988) is a Swiss racing driver who competed in Formula One from 2009 to 2011. After spending 2008 as a test and reserve driver for Red Bull Racing, Buemi was signed as a race driver for Scuderia Toro Rosso for the 2009 season. He raced with the Faenza-based team until the end of 2011, and returned to Red Bull Racing as a test and reserve driver in 2012.

The Swiss driver is also known for having one of the most unusual crashes in Formula One history when the front wheels came off his Toro Rosso STR5 during the 2010 Chinese Grand Prix weekend.

Audemars Piguet

Beumi began serving as a brand ambassador for Audemars Piguet in 2009, and the Royal Oak Offshore ‘Sébastien Buemi’ (ref. 26207IO.OO.A002CA.01) was released in a limited run of 250 pieces. Limited edition racing Offshore models were discontinued not long after, making Buemi’s the last in a product line that had included Michael Schumacher, Rubens Barrichello, Juan Pablo Montoya, and Jarno Trulli.
