Anonimo Watches SA was founded in 1997 by Federico Massacesi in Florence, Italy. Starting off with a number of former Panerai watchmakers who stayed behind after the luxury brand moved to Switzerland, Anonimo has a focus on nautical timepieces. The company was acquired by private European investors in 2013, and relocated its head office to Switzerland while remaining an independent brand.
Leopard Racing
Anonimo began sponsoring the Leopard Racing Moto3 team in 2015. Leopard Racing edition Nautilo models were launched in 2017, 2018, and 2019, each limited to 97 pieces. The sponsorship appeared to end in 2020, with the Nautilo Leopard no longer appearing on the Anonimo website by the start of 2021.
MotoGP race winners Joan Mir, Fabio Quartararo, and Enea Bastianini have all previously raced for the Leopard Racing team in the Moto3 class.
