Technos

Technos Relógios S.A. has roots dating back to 1900 as M. Gunzinger-Hug Co. Founded in Welschenrohr by Melchior Gunzinger, the then-Swiss brand registered the trademark “Technos” in 1924. The founder’s son Josef Gunzinger sold the company to General Watch Co. in 1970, which saw Technos temporarily becoming stablemates with other notable watch brands like Certina, Edox, Eterna, Mido, and Oris. Technos is currently Brazilian-owned and primarily serving the domestic market, stemming from Centauro Importadora representing the Technos brand starting in 1956.

Emerson Fittipaldi

In 2015, Technos launched the Lendas do Podium (Podium Legends) collection to celebrate three Brazilian motorsport icons: Cacá Bueno, Hélio Castroneves, and Emerson Fittipaldi. The Technos Performance TS Carbon Lendas do Podium Emerson Fittipaldi (ref. 2039AO/4P) was produced in honor of the two-time Formula One champion.
