Charles Leclerc

Charles Marc Hervé Perceval Leclerc (born October 16, 1997) is a Monégasque Formula One driver currently driving for Scuderia Ferrari. He is noted for having broken Ferrari’s nine-year win drought at the Italian Grand Prix and being signed to an unusually long five-year contract with the Italian team.

Sauber

Leclerc made his Formula One debut in 2018 with Sauber, then racing as the Alfa Romeo Sauber F1 team. His sixth place finish at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix made him the first Monégasque driver to score points in Formula One since Louis Chiron in 1950.

Scuderia Ferrari

2019 saw a move to Scuderia Ferrari alongside Sebastian Vettel, and promptly became the second youngest F1 polesitter at the Bahrain Grand Prix. Leclerc stood on the podium ten times in his first year with Ferrari, including his first two Formula One wins. The following two years were winless seasons for the Italian team, with Carlos Sainz Jr. joining Ferrari in 2021. As of 2025, Leclerc’s teammate is seven-time F1 world champion Lewis Hamilton.

Hublot

Leclerc had an association with Hublot during his first two seasons in Ferrari, when the watch brand was still serving as a sponsor of the Italian team. No Charles Leclerc edition timepieces were produced, although the Monégasque was noted to have worn a Big Bang MECA-10 Black Magic during that time.

In celebration of Ferrari’s 1000th F1 race, two Big Bang Ferrari 1000 GP models were released in 2020. Each one included a watch winder plus a pair of driving gloves signed by Leclerc and Sebastian Vettel.

Richard Mille

Leclerc was partnered with Richard Mille during his karting career back in 2009, and rejoined the brand in 2021 after the start of their Ferrari sponsorship. The RM 67-02 Charles Leclerc was created and sold for CHF 2,100,000 at a Christie’s auction in November of the same year, via Only Watch. In 2022, Leclerc’s personal custom RM 67-02 was stolen off his wrist after a run-in with fans leading up to the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix.
