Pedro Martínez de la Rosa (born February 24, 1971) is a Spanish former racing driver who competed in Formula One during select seasons between 1999 until 2012.
Formula One
De la Rosa spent his first two full-time Formula One seasons with Arrows, driving alongside Toranosuke Takagi in 1999 and Jos Verstappen in 2000. The next two seasons were spent with Jaguar, both years alongside Eddie Irvine. De la Rosa had a contract to race for the British team for 2003, but was paid off and replaced by Brazilian driver Antônio Pizzonia.
After leaving Jaguar, the Spanish driver joined McLaren as a test driver in 2003. He remained on the sidelines for three seasons, with the exception of replacing an injured Juan Pablo Montoya at the 2005 Bahrain Grand Prix. Following Montoya’s abrupt departure to NASCAR after the United States Grand PRix, de la Rosa raced for McLaren alongside Kimi Räikkönen for the remainder of 2006 and scored his first and only F1 podium at the Hungarian Grand Prix. He resumed testing duties in 2007 after McLaren signed Lewis Hamilton, retaining the role through the end of 2009.
Sauber signed de la Rosa in 2010, after founder Peter Sauber repurchased the team after four seasons of operating as the BMW factory team. He was dropped after the Italian Grand Prix and replaced by Nick Heidfeld. De la Rosa contested the 2011 Canadian Grand Prix for Sauber in place of Sergio Pérez.
De la Rosa signed for HRT F1 in 2012, and was unable to score any points. The team folded after the end of the season, and de la Rosa signed with Ferrari for 2013 to 2014 for a development role. The Spanish driver was announced as an ambassador for the Aston Martin Formula One Team in 2022.

As an official partner of Sauber from 2005 until 2015, Certina released multiple team and driver edition timepieces. Among them was the DS Podium Limited Edition Pedro de la Rosa, released in 2010.
